Thank you for the privilege of allowing us to serve your children here at St. Sebastian Parish School. It is our sincere hope that each of our students will apply to a local Catholic high school to continue their path of excellence in the Catholic tradition. We are working closely with the area high school admissions offices to keep up to date with the many financial opportunities available to you.

Archbishop Hoban High School

The William & Catherine Foley Memorial Scholarship is specifically for a St. Sebastian Parish student who will attend Archbishop Hoban High School. All St. Sebastian students who apply for an Incoming Freshman Scholarship are automatically considered for this scholarship, no separate application is required. Please check with Julie Stieber or any staff member in the Admissions Office at Archbishop Hoban High School for more details. Additional scholarships are available through the Archbishop Hoban High School Admissions Office.


Our Lady of the Elms High School

The Beck Family Foundation Scholarship for Our Lady of the Elms is a renewable tuition grant awarded to a St. Sebastian Parish 8th-grade student(s) who will attend Our Lady of the Elms High School. The Beck family evaluates completed applications and makes the award(s) based on academic performance and financial need. Notification will be mailed to the applicants. The Beck family is dedicated to assisting students in their quest to receive a quality Catholic education. For more information or to apply, Melanie Drouin in the Elms Admissions Office.


St. Vincent-St. Mary High School

The Hanlon Family Scholarship is for Sebastian Parish 8th-grade students who will attend St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. This is a wonderful opportunity to be awarded $1000 for your freshman year tuition at St. Vincent-St. Mary. The Hanlon family wants to help you on your path to success. The Joseph P. Wheeler Memorial Scholarship for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School is for an outstanding 8th-grade student of St. Sebastian Parish School who has exemplary grades and extracurricular activities; this leader will receive a $5,000 total award. This deserving student will receive $2,000 for their freshman year tuition to attend STVM and $1,000 for their 3 subsequent years at STVM. The winner of this scholarship must also agree to participate in a 1-day community service event each summer. This student must be in good standing and maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA to renew each year. The Ralph C. Wheeler Memorial Scholarship for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School is for an outstanding 8th-grade student of St. Sebastian Parish School who has exemplary grades and extracurricular activities; this leader will receive a $2,500 total award. This deserving student will receive $1,000 for their freshman year tuition to attend STVM and $500 for their 3 subsequent years at STVM. The winner of this scholarship must also agree to participate in a 1-day community service event each summer. This student must be in good standing and maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA to renew each year. The scholarships listed above are funded by St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. In addition, the St. Sebastian Parish Foundation offers the John A. Trecaso Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to an 8th-grade student who is currently attending St. Sebastian Parish School who will attend St. Vincent-St. Mary High School next year and who has a financial need. This is a wonderful opportunity to receive a $500 financial award to help cover your freshman year tuition at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. Walsh Jesuit High School

The Beck Family Foundation Award for Walsh Jesuit is for St. Sebastian Parish 8th-grade students who will attend Walsh Jesuit High School and who qualify for tuition assistance. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to receive a full award for their tenure (four years) at Walsh Jesuit, or this award could be split between two or more deserving students. The Beck family wants to help you on your path to success in service to others. To be considered for this award, applicants must apply and qualify for tuition assistance through the Walsh Jesuit website (FAIR application) and complete the Diocesan high school application. The Gerstenmaier Family Scholarship is for any young man or young woman in the 8th grade who is attending St. Sebastian Parish School and will attend Walsh Jesuit High School. This is a wonderful opportunity to receive a financial award for your freshman year tuition at Walsh Jesuit. The Gerstenmaier family wants to help you on your path to success. The scholarship is to be used to further your Catholic education at one of our area Catholic high schools. The dedicated parent volunteers of our Home and School Association want to help you continue on your path of Catholic excellence and recognize and reward your community service and volunteerism during your time at St. Sebastian Parish School. The St. Sebastian Parish Sanctuary Society offers a $500 Sanctuary Society Service Scholarship to one current Altar Server or Usher of St. Sebastian Parish Church in grades 5 - 8. This scholarship is to be used to further your Catholic education at one of our area Catholic high schools. The women of the Sanctuary Society want to help you continue on your path of excellence. The $500 St. Irene Principal's Scholarship goes to one St. Sebastian Parish School 8th-grade student who will be attending a Catholic high school. The winner of this scholarship will be a student who exemplifies the school's mission to honor the Catholic Christian traditions of the past, to develop our talents today, and to prepare for Christian Service in the future. This student must be a hard worker, take pride in the school and themselves and have an impeccable discipline record. This student also must lead others by his/her example and do so in a humble way.
